Sorry for any confusion this may have caused by my lack of understanding. I hope by providing this link, to correct this grievous error on my part.

I’m Back

May 29, 2010

I just wanted to thank everyone for being so patient. I know it’s been a while since my last post. I honestly tried to keep up with posting for the past year but it was hard to do.

One of our children had several major surgeries, then got married two months later. We had two family member develop cancer. My sister made it and so far it looks good for her.  My father-in-law fought for nine months but lost his battle in April. We are still having a hard time recovering but life goes on and we are looking forward to a new baby in our family.

I’ll slowly be getting back up to speed and posting more reviews as quickly as I can read and write them. I’ll also have more pictures to help brighten your day. I love eye candy and love to share.

Hotties

January 16, 2010

Sorry I’ve been away for a while. Shit happens. But enough of that.

To make up I thought I’d brighten everyone’s day with a few pics that I haven’t seen before or in a long while.

Enjoy.

I do like Alex Skarsgard.

When Marla Roberts gets lost in the Northern California redwood forest, she doesn’t expect to find a gingerbread cottage inhabited by two hunky males with pointy ears and flaming red hair. They’re elves, they tell her, and so is she. She soon discovers that an elfin menage offers sensual treats she’d never find in the human world. What’s more? if she passes all their tests, they have an even bigger reward for her.

Adam and E-V-E by Bridget Midway

Adam and E-V-E by Bridget Midway

Phaze publishing

E-V-E, or Emergency Violator Equalizer, is an enhanced woman with a computer chip in her head that makes her the ultimate fighting machine. When faced with a Cerillion robot, she’s more than annoyed to have to fight along side an unenhanced human…especially one who brings out her human side.

Lieutenant Adam B’Luven wants to protect the last few Earth inhabitants without the aid of a machine like E.V.E. that’s making the human Army obsolete. But in order to save the humans, he’ll have to drop his prejudices…and his pants.

I enjoyed Adam and E-V-E immensely. It was a very complex story with at least three different lines being interwoven into a steamy romance set in the future.

E-V-E is an Emergency Violator Equalizer. She is a human with computer and scientific enhancements. Forty percent of her body is bionic. This is kept a secret and most think that only a computer chip is implanted in  E-V-E’s brain. I found E-V-E to be very heart-warming to watch as she discovers that her computer chip malfunction may be something else entirely.
